Order Through a Megaphone!

I have a couple of favorite restaurants in the Cagayan de Oro City. I've been eating in Dynasty Court Restaurant or Sentro 1850 whenever I feel like eating something good, like really good. I never get disappointed in those places. I love Dynasty Court Restaurant not only for food but also I found the place clean, efficiently run, staff were most helpful and always cordial same thing with Sentro 1850, with reachable courteous wait staff in the offing to serve for your requests, and a feel of not rushing up to finish your meal because someone is waiting for their turn to dine, Sentro is definitely a must-visit resto in the city. This restaurant is usually jam-packed at lunch and dinner so you need to go there a bit early to get a seat. Better yet, call for a reservation. There's also a smoking area on the inner back of the resto. Aside from the food being delicious its also priced relatively cheaper versus other similar restos in the city. Grilled Balinese Swordfish, Mozzarella Spinach dip and their Rice bowl toppings are a must-try in the menu. They have an array of desserts too if you wanna end the meal with a "blast", great chocolate cake, rich and very sinful. The chocolate slates were addicting. This was definitely a good choice for a dessert. And oh the last time I was there, I tried the Blueberry cheesecake and I must say it was excellent.

Well anyway, today, me and my Bff went to Sentro 1850 and was very disappointed because it was closed for an Exclusive Party or something. Across the street of Sentro 1850 was a Mexitalian Cuisine, so we decided to give it a try since we are beyond starving and can no longer walk a few blocks to Dynasty Court Restaurant. They have a not so nice set up, kinda small but its doable. They obviously serve Mexican and Italian food (from the restaurants name duh). The interior is off, no Mexican or Italian inspired furnishings or decors. They offer free WiFi (didn't really care, I was there for food). Also, I am not sure if it was because we were the only diner that time or they really don't have pipe-in music, it was pretty darn quite when we ate there. There were tables and chairs outside though it was one painfully hot Saturday we still prefer to sit outside (LOL). We ordered Burritos, Tacos and Drinks, And they served us Tacos, Spaghetti Aglio Olio and Drinks. What's up with that? Well my assessment is, the waitress who was helping us had some type of hearing impairment. I don't know if this restaurant is even worth writing about. It wasn't a totally bad experience since we just paid for something we didn't order. Nyahahaha.

To those people out there who wants to dine in Mexitalian Cuisine make sure you bring a megaphone so the waitress can get your order correctly.
